Today, we’re proud to announce that Ranjeet Shetye has joined MapMyCrop as Co-Founder, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Product & Technology Officer.
WHO IS RANJEET SHETYE?
Ranjeet is among a rare breed of technology leaders who has not only built products but seen them through the full lifecycle — from early-stage bets to multi-hundred-million-dollar acquisitions.
A Computer Science Engineer from the University of Mumbai with a Master’s degree from the University of Southern California, Ranjeet’s 20+ year career spans some of the most consequential intersections of technology and enterprise: Security, Cloud Computing, Networking, Cryptography, and Artificial Intelligence.
He has been a key contributor to startups later acquired by industry giants like Cisco (Airespace), Alcatel, and Marvell (PicoMobile) — and has been instrumental in more than four successful exits, five of which were valued between $150 million and $450 million.
Most recently, Ranjeet served as Managing Director (India) at Everstream Analytics, a global supply chain risk intelligence platform. Before that, he built and scaled technology at Resilinc, CALY Networks, and other venture-backed companies across the US and India. He has also been a Venture Partner at YourNest since 2021, supporting early-stage startups at the intersection of deep tech and enterprise.

As we operate across 80+ countries — delivering satellite AI-powered crop monitoring, tree health intelligence, and farm boundary detection to enterprises, financial institutions, and government bodies — the complexity of what we build demands leadership that is equally at home in boardrooms and engineering sprints.
Ranjeet will lead:
— Product Strategy: Shaping the roadmap for our 1-meter resolution satellite AI platform and its growing suite of enterprise-grade modules.
— Technology Infrastructure: Overseeing the engineering and architecture that powers 3,000+ proprietary AI models and individual plant-level detection across millions of hectares.
— Operations: Ensuring that our delivery, customer success, and global expansion engine runs with the precision our clients expect.
