About the Role:

MapMyCrop is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Business Analyst to join the office of the Delivery Head. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our innovative Agritech solutions and the specific needs of our customers. This role involves decomposing complex requirements, responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and working directly with customers to ensure their needs are thoroughly understood and met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements Analysis: Break down complex project requirements into manageable parts for clear understanding and execution by the development team.
• RFP Responses: Lead the process of responding to RFPs, ensuring that proposals are comprehensive, competitive, and align with company capabilities.
• Customer Engagement: Engage with customers regularly to understand their evolving needs, gather feedback, and translate their requirements into detailed specifications for the development team.
• Onboarding and Adoption: Guide new customers through the onboarding process, ensuring they have a smooth transition and understanding of our products.
• Issue Resolution: Act as the escalation point for customer issues and concerns, working closely with internal teams to address and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Product Training: Provide ongoing training and support to customers to help them fully utilize and leverage our products or services. Deliver training sessions, webinars, and workshops as needed to educate users on new features and functionalities.
• Account Expansion: Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products or services to existing customers based on their needs and usage patterns. Collaborate with sales teams to drive revenue growth and expansion within assigned accounts.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are accurately implemented and customer expectations are met.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for project requirements, customer interactions, and feedback to inform project direction and priorities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, GIS, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the technology or agri-tech sectors.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex requirements into actionable tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on engaging effectively with customers and internal teams.
• Experience in responding to RFPs and preparing compelling proposals.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct market research and apply findings to business strategies.

Company Description: Map My Crop is an innovative MaaS Based World First 360 Degree Imagery Agro Suite that provides advanced, reliable technology to support sustainable farming for over 3.2 million farmers and 20 agro enterprises. Our AI-powered Crop Monitoring Platform uses satellite imagery for precise crop analysis, providing valuable insights, weather updates, and temperature alerts to support success in sustainable agriculture.

Role Description: This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Executive located in Pune.

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for new business development, lead generation, account management, and effective communication with clients to achieve the company’s revenue goals. They will also work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions to clients.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Sales Target Achievement:- Set and achieve ambitious sales targets for agritech SaaS subscriptions, API, and white-label solutions.- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed assigned targets.
2. Lead Conversion:- Identify and qualify potential leads in the agritech sector.- Initiate and nurture relationships with prospective customers.- Convert leads into successful sales through effective communication and negotiation.
3. Product Knowledge:- Develop a deep understanding of Map My Crop’s products, including SaaS subscriptions, API, and white-label solutions.- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics.
4. Customer Relationship Management:- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.- Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
5. Enterprise Sales:- Focus on selling Map My Crop’s solutions to enterprise customers.- Customize sales pitches and proposals to meet the specific needs of enterprise clients.
6. Reporting:- Regularly report on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.- Provide insights and recommendations for improvement based on sales data.
7. Negotiation and Closing:- Lead negotiations with potential clients, ensuring favorable terms for both parties.- Close deals in a timely manner while meeting or exceeding profitability goals.
8. Documentation:- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and deal progress.- Prepare and submit regular reports to the management team.
9. Networking:- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand the company’s presence and client base.
10. Adaptability:- Adapt to changes in the market, industry, and company priorities.- Demonstrate resilience and flexibility in a dynamic business environment.

Qualifications:

Full Stack Developer

We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer (Immediate Joiner) with knowledge of GIS-related applications to join our team. As a Full-Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web-based GIS applications. You will work closely with other developers and GIS experts to ensure the application meets the requirements.

Responsibilities:
• Develop web-based GIS applications using ReactJS, Tailwind CSS, and Python.
