Soil and Climate

Soil –

Fertile and well-draining soil exposed to full sun will benefit apricot cultivation. Soil with good drainage, as apricot plants, do not like moist roots. The correct pH level between 6.7 and 7.5 will be great for growing apricot plants.

Climate –

Yellow apricots require warm climatic conditions and are grown from 1000 to 1500 meters above. Southwestern and Northeastern parts of India are highly suited for the growing of Apricots. Apricots are designed to be grown in a wide variety of soils.
